A warm fall season…

I got off work yesteday afternoon and visited a few spots before heading home.. At the Osprey Trail parking lot I had 2 Red-breasted Nuthatch, 2 Hermit Thrush and a Northern Parula a little ways down the road to the Nature Ctr… I also stopped by 28mi and Teller and found a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets and an Orange crowned Warbler. This warm fall has slowed the wintering species from showing up in good numbers and some migrants that should be heading south are still lingering… The good first cold front and chilly temps should bring in Dark-eyed Juncos and some Tree Sparrows…
