Rainy day birding and peak of migration

I birded at Lk St. Clair Metropark today. I bumped into Wayne Hoch, Brian Mcgee and Marie Mcgee on the trail…. It was a rainy morning but the birding was great. Hightlights included Hooded Warbler, Prothonotary Warbler, Mourning Warbler, Black-billed Cuckoo, Least and Willow Flycatchers singing throughout the park, Eastern Wood Pewee and an Olive-sided Flycatcher on the Meadow Loop…. We also had multiple Grey-cheeked Thrush in the park. The Mcgees and I saw three and Wayne had 4… Amazing. No photos because it was raining except a quick shot of the Olive-sided Flycatcher as the rain began to fall…
