Common Terns at Stony Creek Metropark

I started my morning checking out the wet area off of 18 1/2 mile rd in Sterling Heights… There were 5 Lesser Yellowlegs, 2 Solitary Sandpipers, 1 Semipalmated Sandpiper and a few Ring-billed Gulls… I then headed to Stony Creek Eastwood Beach and found 4 Common Terns, 2 Caspian Terns and a few Ring-billed Gulls… Over at the Osprey Trail the woods were quiet… I did come across Great-crested Flycatcher, Eastern Wood Pewee, Cedar Waxwings and a few Catbirds…

My goal this coming year is to get proficient on gulls… ┬áSo I had fun today photographing Ring-billed Gulls at Stony and then looking at what cycle birds they were….
