LSCMP at dawn….

stopped by Lk St. Clair Metropark right as the sun was rising… only had a short time to bird before I headed to work… Golden-crowned Kinglets are still abundant and they are being joined by Ruby-crowned Kinglets… I saw at least a dozen of them today and over 50 Golden-crowns.. Winter Wrens are moving thru now and there were sparrows everywhere… with White-throated Sparrows being the most abundant. I saw two Orange-crowned Warblers today as well as a couple of Nashville, Black-throated Blue and Common Yellowthroat… There was a Blue-headed Vireo on the meadow loop trail… I got a chance to sneak up on a Juvenile Coopers Hawk that was sitting on a fallen over dead tree… I managed some photos and a video…..
