Sunday morning birding…..

It was good to get out and bird today. I have been so busy a work lately that birding has been on the back burner for the most part… I started at LSCMP and found the Swamp Sparrow and White-throated Sparrows at the feeders that have been previously reported. I also found a Winter Wren on the trail behind the nature center… and BONUS it was singing… such a cool song…  Next I went to DNR station on South River Rd and found a Red-breasted Merganser among the Common Mergansers and one Black Duck in the open water at the tip…  I took a drive around Stony Creek and there was a Red- breasted Merganser in the small area of open water by the North Dam…  When I came home I watched the Common Redpolls and the White-crowned Sparrow in my feeders… very good day!!
